Application : The Grease Penetrometer is used for the determination of cone penetration of lubricating greases, which is a direct measure of grease consistency and NLGI grade. Product Description : The apparatus consists of a rigid vertical stand, precision dial gauge, cone release mechanism, and sample platform. The design ensures smooth cone release, accurate vertical alignment, and repeatable results.
The instrument is suitable for unworked, worked (60 strokes), and prolonged worked penetration tests as specified in ASTM D217.
