Application : Redwood Viscometer is used for determination of the viscosity of petroleum products such as lubricating oils, fuel oils, bitumen emulsions, and other viscous materials by measuring the flow time through a standard orifice at a specified temperature. Widely used in petroleum laboratories, lubricant industries, refineries, research labs, and quality control labs.
Product Description : The unit is supplied with thermometer supports and a stirring arrangement for uniform bath temperature. A brass Redwood cup is mounted inside the bath with a ball valve arrangement for releasing the test sample. The apparatus includes a receiver flask placed below the jet to collect the outflow. The heating unit is housed in a powder-coated body with controls for temperature regulation.
