Welcome To NEMINATH INSTRUMENTS
Compliance Standard : ASTM D1209 – Standard Test Method for Color of Clear Liquids (Platinum–Cobalt Scale), APHA Standard Methods, ISO 6271 / DIN 53409 (equivalent reference methods)
Application : The Hazen (APHA / Platinum–Cobalt) Color Comparator is used for visual determination of color in clear liquids such as water, solvents, chemicals, petroleum products, pharmaceutical solutions, resins, alcohols, and wastewater samples. It is widely applied in water treatment plants, environmental laboratories, chemical industries, refineries, and QC laboratories for monitoring product clarity and purity.
Product Description : The Hazen Scale Color Comparator is a precision optical device designed for visual comparison of liquid samples against calibrated APHA color standards. The comparator uses high-quality color glass filters arranged in rotating discs representing standardized Hazen color values. The sample is placed in a viewing tube and visually matched to determine the nearest APHA color number. This simple, rugged, and power-free instrument provides quick, reliable, and repeatable color measurement for routine laboratory analysis.
