Application : Pensky Martens Flash Point Apparatus is used to determine the flash point of petroleum products, fuels, lubricating oils, bitumen cutbacks, solvents, and other liquids having flash points above 40°C using the closed cup method. Widely used in petroleum labs, refineries, lubricant testing labs, chemical industries, research institutions, and quality control laboratories.
Product Description : The instrument is a semi-automatic Pensky Martens closed cup flash point tester designed for accurate and safe determination of flash point. The unit consists of a brass test cup with lid assembly, fitted with stirrer, shutter mechanism, thermometer holder, and test flame device. The heating is controlled by an electronic energy regulator to ensure uniform heating rate as per ASTM standards. The stirring mechanism is motor driven to maintain constant stirring speed. The application of the test flame is manual through a built-in mechanism. A digital temperature indicator provides precise temperature monitoring during the test. The outer body is fabricated from powder coated mild steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance.
