Application : Rust Prevention Test Apparatus is used to evaluate the ability of inhibited mineral oils, particularly turbine oils and circulating oils, to prevent rusting of ferrous parts in the presence of water. Widely used in lubricant testing laboratories, power plants, refineries, and quality control laboratories.
Product Description : The apparatus consists of a constant temperature water bath with multiple test positions, designed to hold test beakers containing oil, water, and steel test specimens. Each position is fitted with an individual stirrer assembly driven by a geared motor to maintain uniform stirring speed as required by the standard. The bath is fabricated from stainless steel and insulated to ensure temperature stability. A digital temperature controller maintains the bath at the specified test temperature (typically 60°C). The top frame holds the stirrer shafts and specimen holders precisely aligned over the beakers. The outer body is made from powder-coated mild steel with user-friendly controls and indicators.
