Description :- The instrument is used for determination of efflux time for paints, Varnishes, Lacquers and other liquid samples. The cup is made up of brass with an orifice of Internal Diameter 4 +/-0.05mm through which the sample passes and variations in flow are noticed. The base is supported with 3 levelling screws. A rod is provided with fixing knob to adjust the height of cup before test. A suitable receiver is placed before the flow cup such that the distance between orifice and surface of receiving vessel is not less than 100mm.
